Custom Template Developed During a
Training Session
This schedule was
created and edited during a recent
online training session for
Milestones Project Companion.
In
addition to learning the basics of
Milestones Project Companion, the
KIDASA trainer helped the user
create this customized template.
The trainee was very satisfied
with the training session and the
resulting schedule, which represents
Microsoft Office Project tasks in a
presentation format. The trainer and
the user created an effective color
coded symbology and a very
readable presentation format.
By participating in the training,
the user was able to convey what she
needed for her project plan and work
with the trainer to create it.
The KIDASA trainer
and the user created an effective
color coded symbology for task
delineation.
When the Microsoft
Office Project schedule changes, the
Milestones presentation schedule is
easily updated.

"Thank you so very much for a clear,
concise, and comprehensive training
session on Milestones Professional
2008. I have used the program
infrequently over the past 5-6 years,
but now that I understand the full
capability of the program, I fully
intend to use Milestones as my primary
project management tool." - Satisfied

Baseline Bar is Missing When Importing
from Microsoft Office Project
Question:
I used the "Stoplight
Indicators" option when importing from
Microsoft Project. The small sample shows
that the baseline bar should be coming over
from Project but when it all comes into
Milestones, there is no baseline.
