“What Milestones Can Do For You!”
Unleash the full power of Milestones!
Beginning in February 2009, you can sign up
for a FREE half-hour online session: “What
Milestones Can Do For You!” This session
will:
•
Demonstrate the possibilities
through a variety of examples.
•
Show you how to format small or
large projects. Milestones can do them
all - so can you!
•
Get you up and running smoothly.
•
Wow you with Milestones features -
both basic and advanced - so that you
can take advantage of them all.
If you are a
Milestones Professional or Milestones
Project Companion 2008 user and have run
into any of the following issues, please
update your software:
Copy All Pages to PowerPoint not copying
all pages. (This issue was
discovered when the Norwegian language
regional settings were used in Windows and
reported by two of our Norwegian
customers.) This issue has been corrected
in the update.
Several
issues which are of interest to users of
the Milestones Professional and Milestones
Project Companion interface to Microsoft
Office Project have been addressed in the
update. The update affects the
following reports: Earned Value
Dashboard, Gantt Step-by-step, Resource
Summary and other Resource reports, and
Summary-Scatter chart.
A new option
which makes it possible to select a flag
to filter Microsoft Project schedules has
been added for Custom Templates.
This option was previously only available
for non-custom templates.

"Thank you so very much
for a clear, concise, and comprehensive
training session on Milestones
Professional 2008. I have used the
program infrequently over the past 5-6
years, but now that I understand the
full capability of the program, I fully
intend to use Milestones as my primary
project management tool." - Satisfied

Schedule "Makeovers"
You've heard of house makeovers, body
makeovers, face makeovers. We are
taking a crack at
schedule makeovers. Check out our
Makeovers page to see a few of the schedules
we have transformed. If you have a
schedule you would like to see made over
send it over and we'll take a look at it.
Who knows, it might even be featured in a
future issue of Major Milestones!
.
The current version of all Milestones
software is version 2008.
