with Milestones Professional span a few years, or even months, it's possible to
make timelines that span decades or even centuries. This article
gives some examples and discusses to tips and techniques to make timeline
creation easy.

that runs from 1556 through 1868, showing key dates in the history of

Creation Tips:
Setting up the date range
and date headings
Click directly on the heading area of the schedule.
Set the Date Heading
type to Yearly (the first Yearly selection).
Set the Frequency
"Freq" to 100
if you want to display centuries, or 10 if you want to show decades.
Click the apply
button.
Choose the Dates
tab.
Type in the
Displayed Start Date
(like 1/1/1500 for the first day of the year 1500).
Click the apply
button.
Type in the
Displayed End Date
(like 12/31/1800 for the last day of the year 1800).
