| Q |
I want to import Enterprise Flag
fields from Microsoft Project server. Is this possible? |
| A |
Yes, with a little tweaking on
the Microsoft Project side. |
| |
| |
|
| |
In Microsoft Project |
|
1 |
Add a new Flag field to your
schedule (one of the Flag1-20 fields) |
|
2 |
Right-click in the column heading
area for the Flag field. |
|
3 |
Choose Customize Fields...
 |
|
4 |
Click the Formula
button.

|
|
5 |
Click the Field button
to insert a new field.
 |
|
6 |
Save your Microsoft
Project File. |
|
7 |
Import your Microsoft
Project File into Milestones using the wizard (as
usual). This time, pick the new Flag field you
just set up (Flag 2 in this example). It will pick
up the contents of your Enterprise flag field from
Project Server. |

Note: This technique can also be
used to import Enterprise number fields, text fields and cost
fields. |
