CUSTOMIZE ONE OF THE
BUILT-IN WIZARD FORMATS
Q
I have imported a schedule from Microsoft Office
Project and everything looks great. I am now moving a symbol on
one of the task lines in Milestones. It's at the beginning of
one of the rows. Moving it makes the other symbols on the row
move. Help!
A
In Milestones 2006, choose the Dependency Mode
option on the Edit menu. This will turn off dependency
mode, making it so that moving a single symbol won't affect others on a
row.
In version 2008, the Dependency Mode check box is on the
Dates toolbar.
CUSTOMIZE ONE OF THE
BUILT-IN WIZARD FORMATS
Q
After importing my Microsoft Project schedule, I have customized it and now it is
just right. It took me about 2 hours to get all of the
colors, date headings, legend and columns just perfect.
Will I need to repeat this every time?
A
Nope! Just set up a Custom Project
Import Template!
