Custom Date Format

It's possible to use a custom date format for date SmartColumns and on symbols. Each column can have its own custom format, while a single custom format applies to all symbols. To set a column custom date format see the column properties dialog:

To set the symbol date custom format, see Format | Symbol Date Format. The “?” button next to the format entry box displays the rules for entering the custom format string.

The custom date format option is now available for the Current Date also. Along with the custom format, the current date now may also optionally include a time setting. If the time setting is to be used, at least Hourly sensitivity should be set in the Schedule Details dialog.

Note: Entries under Format | International will not apply to custom dates, since day and month names are maintained by Windows and are based upon the current regional settings.
